Celebrating Hannah’s twenty fourth birthday in London by having dim sum and seeing Singin’ in the Rain at The Palace Theatre. It’s very similar to the movie, the music, costumes… so much fun!! Then in the evening went to Wallington to join in with hen party fun for Rosie by having lovely cocktails and a lovely five course meal with the Bream Team.
It’s supposed to be spring, yet we got a good day of snow, leading to a snow day today! No electronics this morning, instead I had a little lay in, took a few photos. After a cloudy morning the clouds cleared and we got a blue bird afternoon.
Sunday morning, on top of the Dunstable Downs for a ten kilometer trail run right off the back of the Tuffman. I found this run very last minute while looking for a summer race. The weather was so miserable, bitterly cold winds with snow, so so cold. The paths were really muddy, at one point I had to run right though a massive puddle getting feet completely wet, luckly it was right near the end so wasn’t sooo bad. Results on the runners club page, here, I came 124th out of 143 runners.
Picked up Hannah from Heathrow on the way to Harry Potter Studio Tours and stopped for lunch at The Stag in Chorleywood, just of the M25, junction 17. Nice pub, found it though a combination of searching villages near the M25 and Tripadvisor. The Tripadvisor reviews of The Stag are pretty spot on, attentive staff, good food, nicely decorated interior. The toilet also has moisturiser and hand towels – nice eco touch.
